Watchful

(Canada Geese)

Becky captured these three from the car window. The geese, of course, were hyper aware of her every movement and the sound of the camera shutter. As they watched, wary but curious too, they’d take a step or two at a time farther away from us in sync, like a rehearsed trio in a choreographed, slow-motion dance.

Our view was enhanced by the soft color of the dried grasses, waving gently in the breeze.
