Ibis

(White-faced Ibis)

This hobby of mine began at the timely intersection of being able to attach my iPhone to my birding scope and discovering the enhanced painting tools of Procreate for my iPad. This Ibis, seen in a pond at the San Joaquin Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary in February of 2019 was only the second bird I had captured with my jury-rigged telescopic iPhone.

The image never quite forgotten, I retrieved the old photo and went to work, delight gathering with each stroke.
